The Beginnings -Virucept™ Red Marine Algae - Rhodophyta

Red Marine Algae (Rhodophyta) as a food source

Red marine algae has been available to people throughout the world for thousands of years as a major food source. Throughout Europe, Asia, from North America to South America red, brown, and green algae's are used for a multitude of products.

Red Marine Algae's (Rhodophyta) early beginnings as a anti-viral - Intracept Pro

It was discovered that algae, especially red marine algae could be used as a natural anti-viral.  A product called Intracept Pro was the first red marine algae(Rhodophyta) product to be made available for the purpose of treating viral infections such as herpes simplex. The company that marketed this product was In Life Energy Systems.  The product was based on a certain species of the Dumontiaceae family of red algae.  Unfortunately, the company later went out of business and the area the algae was harvested from became protected.

Red Marine Algae and BryantLabs - Virucept

Since the demise of In Life Energy Systems, other companies have tried to market red marine algae products containing other species of Dumontiaceae but have not been able to match the potency Intracept Pro..... until now.
